- 1 clove garlic
- 1 lb. boneless stew beef
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 c. tomato juice or soup
- 3/4 c. water
- 4 medium carrots
- 4 Tbsp. oil
Directions

1Cut meat into 1-inch cubes, then roll in flour.

2Brown on low temperature in fat.

3Chop onion fine.

4Chop garlic.

5Cut carrots into 2-inch lengths.

6Add all other ingredients together and pour over the browned beef.

7Cover and cook at very low heat for 1 1/4 hours.

8Add carrots the last 30 minutes of cooking.
