- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 (27 oz.) stewed tomatoes
- 1/2 green pepper, diced
- 4 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 1/2 c. elbow macaroni
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 medium onion
- 1 c. celery, diced
- 4 oz. can mushrooms
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. basil
Directions

1Brown ground beef, add onion and saute.

2Salt and pepper to taste.

3Cook macaroni in salted water for 5 to 6 minutes; drain. Mix all ingredients and put in greased casserole dish.

4Bake, covered, at 325° for 45 minutes.

5Remove cover and bake 15 minutes longer.
