- 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons green onions, chopped
- 2 teaspoons fresh chives, chopped
- 6 (8 ounce) grouper fillets, about 1 inch thick
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- lemon slice (optional)
- fresh chives (optional)
Directions

1Combine cheese, margarine, mayonnaise, green onions and chives in a small bowl and stir well. Set aside.

2Place fillets on a lightly greased rack in a broiler pan. Dizzle lemon juice over fillets; sprinkle with pepper. Broil 6 inches from heat 8 to 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.

3Remove from oven and spread tops of fillets with cheese mixture. Broil an additional 2 minutes or until cheese is lightly browned and bubbly.

4Remove fillets to a serving platter. If desired, garnish with lemon slices and fresh chives.
