- 2 large (1 lb. 13 oz.) cans hominy
- 1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- butter
- sour cream
- 1/2 c. heavy cream
- 1 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
Directions

1Drain and rinse the hominy.

2Generously butter a 3-quart casserole.

3Layer the ingredients in this order: hominy, green chilies, salt, pepper, sour cream, butter.

4Repeat the layers ending with a layer of hominy.

5Dot the top with butter and pour cream over all.

6Sprinkle with cheese.

7Bake 15 to 30 minutes at 350°.
