Gourmet Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 6 chops, trim fat
  • 2 Tbsp. fat
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. rosemary
  • 1 can fried onions
  • 1/2 c. sour cream, if desired

Directions

    In skillet, melt fat.

    Coat chops with 2 tablespoons flour and salt and pepper.

    Brown chops, then place in a cooking dish. Combine mushroom soup, water, ginger and rosemary.

    Pour over chops and sprinkle 1/2 can of fried onions on top.

    Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 50 minutes.

    Sprinkle rest of onions on top and bake 10 more minutes without cover.

    Add 1/2 cup sour cream, if desired.
