  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 cups bisquick
  • 2 tablespoons onion flakes or or 1/3 c. grated cheese

Directions

    In mixer bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.

    Add sugar and 1/2 of the Bisquick.

    Beat 2 minutes on medium speed.

    Add remaining Bisquick and choice of onion flakes, grated cheese, or caraway seeds.

    Blend with spoon until smooth.

    Cover with cloth and let rise in warm place until double, about 30 minutes.

    Stir down by beating 25 strokes.

    Drop dough by spoonfuls on greased baking sheet, making 12 mounds 2 inches apart.

    Dough will be sticky.

    Flatten tops with floured fingers in rounds about 1/2 inch thick.
