- 6 medium potatoes
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 c. sour cream
- crumbled bacon
Directions

1Cook potatoes in skins and cool.

2Peel and shred coarsely. Cook onion in butter on low heat.

3Add cheese and stir until almost melted.

4Add sour cream and salt.

5Fold in potatoes and put into a greased 2 quart casserole.

6Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons butter and bacon.

7Bake at 350° for 1/2 hour.
