  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
  • 1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chopped dried apples

    Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, heat coconut oil over medium heat. Add next 10 ingredients. Stir until coated in oil; add chopped apple.

    Transfer mixture to a foil-lined 15x10x1-in. pan. Bake, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, 12-15 minutes (do not burn).
