- 2 c. macaroni shells (medium size) or 1 1/2 c. elbows
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- chopped onion (optional)
- 2 (10 oz.) cans tomato soup
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- sprinkle of cinnamon
- oregano to taste
- grated cheese (optional)
Directions

1Cook macaroni (no salt) per package directions.

2Place meat in large skillet over low heat; cover and cook until red disappears and drain off liquid.

3Add remaining ingredients, except macaroni, and let simmer for short time until flavor is blended, stirring a few times.

4Add drained macaroni and mix well.

5If mixture is too thick, add small amount of milk.

6Serve hot.
