- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3/4 cup orange juice, no pulp
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon orange rind, grated (zest)
- 2 tablespoons Grand Marnier
- 2 (16 ounce) cans beets, drained and sliced
- salt
Directions

1Stir together cornstarch and sugar in saucepan.

2Blend in orange juice, vinegar and orange peel.

3Heat to boiling, stirring constantly, until thickened and clear.

4Stir in Grand Marnier.

5Stir in beets.

6Cook until heated through.

7Season to taste with salt.

8Garnish with thin strips of orange peel, if desired.
