  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Beat in butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

    Add the well beaten egg yolks.

    Sift flour twice with salt and baking powder.

    Add a little milk at a time with flour; add vanilla. Fold in beaten egg whites.

    Pour batter into 2 iron skillets. Bake in a 350° oven until done.

    Can use any pan of your choice.
