Ingredients
- 3 to 5 lb. beef or deer roast
- 2 c. catsup
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. sweet pickles, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. mustard
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/3 c. vinegar or lemon juice
- salt to taste
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. barbecue sauce
Directions

1Cook meat until tender; flake and finely chop meat.

2Blend all ingredients in large bowl except catsup and barbecue sauce.

3If mixture is a little sour add more sugar.

4Add catsup and barbecue sauce as needed.

5Boil until thick, stirring often.

6Pour over meat and simmer 10 minutes.

7Serve over buns with cole slaw if desired.
