Granny'S Chicken Pie

  • 2 1/2 lb. flour
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. Carnation cream
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. chopped bell pepper
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. self-rising flour
  • 1 unbaked pie crust

Directions

    Boil chicken and remove bones; dice.

    Place butter in deep frying pan. Add the flour.

    Brown slightly, then add 2 cups chicken broth, vegetables and cream. Cook on slow heat until vegetables are done. Stir in diced chicken. Salt and pepper to taste.

    Put in pie crust; place in oven at 375° or 400° until crust is browned.
