- 1 cup scalded milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons shortening
- 1 package yeast
- 2 tablespoons warm water
- 1 egg
- 4 cups flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

3to lukewarm.

4Combine milk, sugar and shortening.

5Add diluted yeast, eggs and 1/2 flour.

6Mix well.

7Add remainder of flour slowly stirring to make a soft dough.

8Refrigerate covered overnight.

9Punch down.

10Make into rolls.

11Let rise for 1 hour.

12Bake at 375 degrees for 7 to 10 minutes until brown.
