  • 5 c. old fashioned oatmeal
  • 1/2 c. wheat germ
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. canola or corn oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/3 c. honey
  • 1 c. nuts (pecans, sunflower or sesame seed)

Directions

    Mix the first 3 ingredients.

    In separate bowl, mix remaining ingredients.

    Pour over oats mixture; mix well.

    Pour into large pan so it can be spread rather thin.

    Bake in a 325° oven until lightly toasted.

    Stir every 15 minutes.
