Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. rolled oats
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. nuts or sunflower seeds (or those of your choice)
  • 1/3 c. melted margarine
  • 1/4 c. unprocessed bran or wheat germ
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. raisins, chopped
  • dried apricots or dates or whatever combination you desire

Directions

    Mix all together, except fruit.

    Bake in a 325° oven in a 9 x 13-inch pan for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Stir in fruit and spread mix out to cool.
