Ingredients

  • 12 c. regular rolled oats
  • 2 c. unsweetened coconut
  • 1 1/3 c. wheat germ
  • 1 c. slivered almonds or cashew pieces
  • 1 c. sunflower seeds
  • 1 c. sesame seed
  • 1/2 c. honey (or less)
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 4 tsp. almond extract
  • 1/3 c. orange juice
  • 2 c. raisins

Directions

    Combine first 6 ingredients.

    Mix orange juice, almond extract, salt and honey.

    Pour over dry ingredients and toss together.

    Crumble into shallow baking sheets in 3/4-inch layer. Bake 1 hour at 250°, stirring occasionally.

    Add raisins after baking.

    Makes 14 cups.
