- 10 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup wheat germ
- 12 lb flaked coconut
- 2 cups sunflower seeds
- 1 cup sesame seeds
- 3 cups nuts, chopped
- 1 12 cups brown sugar
- 1 12 cups water
- 1 12 cups vegetable oil
- 12 cup honey
- 12 cup molasses
- 1 12 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
- raisins (optional) or other dried fruit (optional)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300* F (150* C).

2In a large bowl combine oats, coconut, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds and nuts.

3Blend well.

4In a large saucepan, combine brown sugar, water, oil, honey, salt, cinnamon and vanilla.

5Heat until sugar is dissolved, but do not boil.

6Pour syrup over dry ingredients and stir until well-coated.

7In several batches, spread onto baking sheets (with rim) in a thin layer.

8Bake 60 minutes, stirring every 15 until dry.

9Cool.

10Add raisins or other dried fruit, if desired.

11Store in airtight containers in a cool dry place for up to 6 months.
