Ingredients

  • 6 c. old-fashioned oats
  • 1 c. shredded coconut, unsweetened
  • 1/2 c. sunflower seeds (nuts may be substituted)
  • 1/2 c. wheat germ
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1 c. chopped unsweetened banana chips
  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Spread oats in ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Heat in oven 10 minutes.

    Combine coconut, sunflower seeds, wheat germ, cinnamon, banana chips and hot oats.

    Add honey and oil; mix well.

    Return mixture to baking pan.

    Bake 15 minutes, stir.

    Bake 10 minutes, stir.

    Bake another 10 minutes or until brown.

    Add raisins and store in airtight container.
