Ingredients

  • 6 c. rolled oats
  • 2 c. raw sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 c. wheat germ or bran
  • 1/2 c. sesame seed (optional)
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. coconut
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Mix oats, sunflower seeds, wheat germ and sesame seed in a large roasting pan.

    Add cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla.

    Mix.

    Heat oil, honey and water together until combined and add to other mixture.

    Add coconut and mix.

    Bake at 250° for 2 hours or more, stirring every 30 minutes.

    Allow to cool in the oven.
