Ingredients

  • 1 lb. oats (regular or instant)
  • 2 c. wheat germ
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. shredded coconut
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. sesame seed
  • 1/2 c. sunflower seeds
  • 1 c. oil (peanut)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • raisins, figs or other dried fruit (optional)

Directions

    Mix all ingredients except fruits together with hands and get all lumps out of brown sugar.

    Bake in roasting pan at 325° until golden brown, about 45 minutes.

    Stir every 10 minutes.

    Cool.

    Add raisins, chopped figs or other dried fruits, if desired.

    Keep in plastic bags or cannister in refrigerator or freezer.
