  • 5 c. oatmeal
  • 1/4 c. nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 c. wheat germ
  • 1 c. sesame seed
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1/4 c. unprocessed bran
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. safflower oil

    Combine dry ingredients in large baking pan.

    Blend honey, water and oil; heat slightly.

    Pour over dry ingredients and stir until combined evenly.

    Heat slowly at 225° to 250° for 2 hours. Turn with spatula every 15 minutes.

    Makes 14 (approximately 1/2 cup) servings.
