- 3 1/2 c. Quaker oatmeal (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 2/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/3 c. honey
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Toast oats in ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking pan at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.

2Combine toasted oats with remaining ingredients. Mix well.

3Press firmly into well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

4Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes or until slightly brown around edges. Cool.

5Cut into bars.
