Granola Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 yard eggs
  • 3/4 c. raw butter
  • 1 c. brown rice syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. blackstrap molasses
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 c. homemade granola or granola cereal
  • 1/2 c. rolled oats
  • 1/2 c. carob chips
  • 2 c. whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Preheat oven to 300°.

    In blender, mix together eggs, butter, sweetener and vanilla.

    In large bowl, mix together remaining ingredients.

    Stir in liquid ingredients from blender.

    Press in a 12 x 18 x 1-inch cookie pan.

    Bake at 300° for 15 minutes, checking the bars to make sure they do not burn on bottom.

    Let cool and cut into 2 x 3-inch bars.

    Serve 12.
