- 3/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 1/2 c. granola type cereal
- 2/3 c. chopped nuts or coconut
Directions

1In a 3-quart pan, melt butter, then add brown sugar, honey, vanilla and salt; stir until well blended.

2Stir in granola and desired nuts and coconut.

3Turn into a well-greased 10 x 15-inch pan.

4Press in firmly to form an even layer.

5Bake, uncovered, in a 400° oven until browned and bubbly, about 10 to 15 minutes.

6Cool slightly and cut into bars while still warm.

7Yields 32 bars.
