  • 4 cups prepared Concord grape juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 7 cups sugar
  • 1 pouch Certo Liquid Pectin

    STEM and thoroughly crush 3 qts grapes.

    Place in a large saucepan.

    ADD water.

    Bring to a boil and simmer, covered, 10 minutes.

    Place in jelly cloth or bag and squeeze out juice.

    MEASURE prepared juice into a large saucepan.

    ADD sugar to juice and mix well.

    PLACE saucepan over high heat.

    Bring to a full rolling boil and boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat.

    IMMEDIATELY stir in liquid fruit pectin.

    SKIM if necessary.

    POUR quickly into warm, sterilized jars filling up to 1/4 inch (0.5 cm) from rim.

    SEAL while hot with warm sterilized 2-piece lids with new centers.
