  • 1/2 c. Grape-Nuts
  • 2 1/2 c. warm milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • nutmeg

Directions

    Soak cereal for 10 minutes in warm milk.

    Beat eggs with fork; add sugar, salt and vanilla.

    Add egg mixture to milk-cereal and stir.

    Sprinkle with nutmeg.

    Bake in a casserole dish set in a pan of hot water.

    Stir twice in first 20 minutes of baking time. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
