- 1 qt. milk or a little less
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. Grape-Nuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- nutmeg to taste
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Scald milk.

3Add Grape-Nuts and set aside.

4Beat eggs slightly.

5Add sugar, salt, nutmeg and vanilla and stir.

6Dot top with butter.

7Bake 1/2 hour.

8Test after it bubbles slightly.

9Tester should be clean after inserted.
