- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. commercial refrigerated grapefruit juice
- 1 1/2 tsp. finely chopped, fresh mint
Directions

1Combine boiling water and sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves; let cool.

2Add grapefruit juice and mint.

3Pour into a 9-inch square pan.

4Freeze until almost firm.

5Spoon mixture into a mixing bowl.

6Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until slushy.

7Return mixture to pan and freeze 8 hours.

8To serve, let mixture stand at room temperature for 20 minutes.

9Yields 3 1/2 cups.
