Grapefruit-Mint Sorbet

- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup mint leaves
- 1/4 cup mint leaves dried
- 2 large grapefruit
Directions

1Make a syrup by combining the water and sugar in a non-corrosive pot.

2Bring to a boil.

3Simmer for 5 minutes.

4Remove from the heat, add the mint leaves and let steep for 20 to 25 minutes.

5Strain the syrup and discard the mint leaves.

6Juice the grapefruits and measure out 1 cup of juice.

7When the syrup has cooled, combine with the grapefuit juice.

8Freeze following the instructions for making Lemon Sorbet.

9Garnish with the additional mint leaves.
