- 2 c. chocolate wafer crumbs
- 1/3 c. melted butter
- 1 Tbsp. gelatin
- 1/2 c. sugar, divided
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1/4 c. creme de menthe
- 1/4 c. creme de cacao
- 1 c. heavy cream, whipped
Directions

1Blend 1 1/2 cup crumbs with butter.

2Press into bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan.

3Dissolve gelatin, 1/4 cup sugar and salt in water in top of double boiler.

4Add well-beaten egg yolks; cook over hot water until thick.

5Cool; add creme de menthe and creme de cacao.

6Congeal until consistency of egg white.

7Beat egg whites until stiff; add remaining sugar.

8Fold into gelatin mixture.

9Fold in whipped cream and pour into crust.

10Top with remaining crumbs.

11Chill.
