  • 4 c. raw oatmeal
  • 1/4 c. wheat germ
  • 1/2 c. coconut, shredded or flaked
  • 1/4 c. sesame seed
  • 1 c. slivered almonds
  • 1/3 c. cooking oil
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1 tsp. vanilla (optional)
  • 1/4 c. raisins (white are nicest)

Directions

    Heat oats in ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan in a 350° oven for 10 minutes.

    Take out.

    Add the rest, pouring honey on last.

    Bake until golden brown, stirring about every 5 minutes.

    Cool.

    Add white raisins when cool.
