  • 3 c. peeled and chopped apples
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. salad oil
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Sift dry ingredients together in a large bowl.

    Beat eggs; add sugar, oil and vanilla.

    Add dry ingredients.

    Stir until well blended.

    Fold in apples and nuts.

    Batter will be thick.

    Place in greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan or 3 1/2-inch tube pan. Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes.
