  • 2 cans green beans, drained (not French-style)
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. cashew nuts, chopped
  • 1/2 c. diced onion
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Sauterne wine
  • 4 oz. can mushrooms

Directions

    Cook onions in butter over low heat.

    Blend in flour, wine and sour cream.

    Add drained beans, mushrooms and nuts.

    Mix well; place in 1 1/2-quart shallow casserole dish and top with buttered bread crumbs.

    Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes.
