  • 1 whole chicken cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup Green chillies
  • 1/2 cup fresh coriander
  • 2 medium sized onions
  • 1 inch piece of ginger
  • 10 clove garlic
  • 3 Green chillies,chopped
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp dry coriander powder
  • 3/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cup water

Directions

    Grind onion,ginger, coriander ,chillies,garlic and salt together.

    Add the chicken to this mixture and let the chicken marinate for atleast half an hour.

    Heat oil in a wok, add cumin seeds,when they start changing colour add turmeric powder

    Now add the marinated chicken and choped green chillies and mix well.

    To this add coriander powder and roasted cumin powder.

    Now add garam masala..adjust seasoning and add 1 1/2 cup water.

    Cover and cook till chicken is soft.
