Ingredients

  • 4 or 5 chicken breasts or whole chicken
  • 1 pkg. green noodles or plain noodles
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 lb. cheese
  • 1 small jar mushrooms
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 pkg. slivered almonds (optional)

Directions

    Cook chicken; cut in small pieces.

    Saute onion and pepper in oleo.

    Add cheese, mushrooms and soup; cook until blended.

    Cook noodles in chicken broth.

    Mix together with cheese mixture and chicken.

    Bake in large casserole at 300° until bubbly.

    Add more broth if it seems dry.

    Cheese and chicken mixture may be frozen.
