- 1 1/2 c. raw rice
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onions
- 1/4 c. minced garlic
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. chopped parsley
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
Directions

1Cook the rice.

2To cook rice:

32 cups raw rice, 5 1/3 cups cold water, 1 1/3 teaspoons salt and 1 tablespoon butter.

4Place all in a large saucepan.

5Cover and bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and cook, covered, for 25 minutes. Turn off heat and let stand covered 10 minutes.

6Serves 10 and makes large ring mold.

7Saute onion and garlic in butter.

8Combine rice and parsley in bowl.

9Add milk, salt, Worcestershire, cheese and egg, then the onion and garlic.

10Mix thoroughly.

11Pour into baking dish.

12Bake at 350° for about 40 minutes.
