Green Rice Ring

  • 2 c. cooked rice (3/4 c. raw)
  • 2 c. sharp grated cheese
  • 1 large can evaporated milk
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 large buds garlic
  • 1/2 c. chopped parsley or 2 Tbsp. dried parsley
  • 1/2 c. chopped green onions or 2 Tbsp. dried minced onion
  • 4 eggs

Directions

    Saute onions, minced garlic and parsley in oleo. Beat eggs and add milk and other ingredients.

    Bake in well-greased and floured ring mold at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes. Do not brown!

    Remove on plate and serve hot.
