Ingredients

  • 1/4 to 1/2 head iceberg lettuce
  • 1 pkg. fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1 small box fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 8 slices crisp fried bacon, crumbled
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs, sliced thin
  • 1 pkg. frozen English peas, thawed but not cooked
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • lemon juice
  • grated Swiss cheese

Directions

    Place all of the ingredients, except the last four items, in a clear glass bowl in layers in the order given.

    Mix mayonnaise and sour cream together, adding a little lemon juice to make mixture easier to spread.

    Top with grated cheese and refrigerate.

    Cover tightly.

    Do put dressing on when you make the salad but do not mix until serving time.
