Green Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients

  • 20 green peppers
  • 2 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 small garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • black pepper (optional)
  • 3 lb. hamburger
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 2 tsp. beef bouillon
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 c. V-8 juice

Directions

    Wash peppers and remove seeds.

    Mix rice, raw hamburger, onion, garlic, paprika, egg, V-8 juice, salt and pepper together. Mix well.

    Spoon into green peppers.

    Place in large, greased roaster.

    Mix 2 cups water and 2 cups V-8 juice together.

    Pour over peppers.

    Sprinkle bouillon on top.

    Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
