- 4 large red onions, cut crosswise into 1/2 inch slices
- 1 c. red wine vinegar
- 1 c. soy sauce
- 1 c. honey
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
Directions

1Place onions in a 1-gallon resealable plastic bag.

2In a medium bowl whisk next 5 ingredients.

3Pour vinegar mixture into bag and seal.

4Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.

5Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

6Using a slotted spoon, place onions in skillet and cook until brown on both sides.

7Drain on paper towels.

8Serve warm.
