- 2 c. cooked grits
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 large bell pepper
- 1 large onion
- 2 stalks celery
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 8 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
Directions

1Brown sausage and drain off oil.

2Chop up pepper, onion and celery.

3Put pepper, onion and celery in a large saucepan.

4Cover with water and cook until tender.

5Mix grits, sausage, pepper, onion and celery together.

6Spread undiluted cream of mushroom soup on top of these ingredients and sprinkle with grated Cheddar cheese.

7Put in 400° oven until cheese melts and is bubbly.

8Salt and pepper to taste.
