  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 1 1/2 c. grits
  • 5 c. boiling water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. melted margarine

Directions

    Cook quick grits in 5 cups boiling water with salt.

    Brown sausage; drain fat.

    Add grated cheese, sausage, 3 beaten eggs, milk and margarine.

    Pour into a 3-quart casserole dish; bake at 350° for 1 hour.
