Ingredients

  • white rice cooked
  • 1 1/8 pounds ground beef
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 onion medium
  • 3 tomatoes medium
  • 1 can black eyed peas
  • black olives to taste
  • olive oil to taste

Directions

    Cook the rice. When cooked, rinse in cold water so it remains fluffy and cool.

    In a skillet, fry the garlic cloves in drizzle of olive oil, on medium heat.

    Before the garlic browns, add the meat, separating well with a fork, season with salt and paprika and let cook. When the meat is cooked, remove from heat, and let cool.

    While the meat and the rice cool down, chop the onions and tomatoes in small pieces, and place in a large bowl.

    Add the olives.

    Add the cold rice and meat, and mix in the bowl.

    Drizzle with a bit of olive oil and serve.
