Ingredients

  • 1 large avocado, peeled and seeded
  • 1 large firm ripe tomato, peeled, seeded and chopped
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 3 shallots, chopped
  • salt and cayenne to taste
  • 1 level Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon or lime juice

Directions

    Chop small or mash avocado; add chopped tomato, minced onion and chopped shallots and mix.

    Add seasoning, oil and juice and blend well.

    Serve cold on tortillas, melba toast, little hot biscuits or little hot crepes, rolled.
