- 6 ripe avocados, halved and seeded
- 1 small tomato, diced
- 1/4 c. mild diced green chilies
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cumin
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions

1With a large spoon, scoop pulp from skin of avocados into a bowl.

2Mash avocados with potato masher, leaving slightly chunky; set aside.

3Combine remaining ingredients and mix well.

4Fold into avocados gently, not to mush.

5Chill until ready to serve.

6Serve as dip with tortilla chips.

7Yields 4 cups.
