- 1 1/2 cups Guinness stout
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions

1In a small pot caramelize onions with oil.

2Add spices and keep stirring with whisk

3add brown sugar then honey

4Then add stout.

5Bring to a boil.

6Reduce heat to medium and simmer until reduced by about half. Sauce will thicken quite a lot as it cools.

7Store in refrigerator.
