Ingredients: 1/2 c. margarine; 1 c. sugar; 1 egg; 3/4 c. applesauce; 1/8 tsp. cloves; 1/8 tsp. nutmeg; 1/8 tsp. salt; 1/2 tsp. cinnamon; 1/2 tsp. baking soda, dissolved with 1/2 Tbsp. hot water; 2 c. flour *; 1 c. raisins; 1/2 c. chopped nuts; 2 c. spiced gumdrops, sliced thin or cut in small pieces
