  • 250g block PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
  • 500g minced pork Safeway 1 lb For $1.99 thru 02/09
  • 1 cup finely chopped chinese cabbage
  • 2 spring onions, minced
  • 2 teaspoons grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 500g gyoza wrappers
  • soy sauce, extra, for dipping sauce

Directions

    Mix Philly*, pork, cabbage, spring onions, soy sauce, salt and pepper until combined.

    Place one tablespoon of pork mixture on wrappers and brush with water.

    Fold both sides up to form a semi-circle, pinch the corners to seal the edges.

    Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large saucepan.

    Arrange half the gyoza in the hot pan and fry over medium heat 2 minutes, until the bottoms are golden.

    Add 1/2 cup water.

    Cover pan and cook 3 minutes, until wrappers are translucent.

    Uncover and continue cooking until the bottoms are crisp.

    Repeat process with remaining gyoza.

    Serve with soy sauce.
