- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. cake flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Cream butter and shortening until light; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

2Add vanilla; combine cake flour and baking powder; add to cream mixture.

3Add milk and beat 5 minutes; pour batter into greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

4Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
